Rachel McKay Steele is a writer and comedian who left Brooklyn and bagels for sunny Los Angeles. She has studied comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and clown and acting with Completely Ridiculous Productions. Her solo show, Shiva for Anne Frank, premiered at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival and won a Producer’s Encore Award and is currently in workshops for a 2025 run. In 2021, she was a Just For Laugh’s Stand up and Pitch competition finalist. She received the inaugural Jewish Writers’ Initiative Grant for her feature script Adult Bat Mitzvah which was then on the 2022 Athena Film Festival’s Athena List and is currently in development with Burn Later Productions. She has two cats, Roxy and Esther. They are perfect cuddle demons. She is allergic to cats but they’ve made it work.

She is also a Senior Copywriter.
